Many designs originally specified as being constructed from steel are suitable for conversion into an alternative timber based solution. Timber is an environmentally friendly product as continuously more saplings are planted than are harvested. Growing trees absorb CO2 and give off oxygen until they are mature. This practice of felling mature trees and replacing with new growth is of considerable environmental value.
